Estate Planning: Don’t Make These Mistakes!

Community Foundation-Sponsored Seminar Makes Planning Easy

New Britain, Conn. (August 12, 2014) – Estate planning should be a rewarding, pain-free process, and doing it wrong can jeopardize everything you’ve worked long and hard for. The list of common mistakes that can be made without sound, professional counsel is long.

The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain is in the business of helping others realize their charitable dreams – and in making the process of estate planning as efficient and easy as possible. To assist those who need help with this process, the Foundation will host a free-of-charge seminar, “Estate Planning: Don’t Make These Mistakes!” on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the New Britain Museum of American Art, 56 Lexington Street, New Britain.

The seminar will be hosted by Berlin-based Attorney and Certified Public Accountant Paul T. Czepiga, JD, CELA, CPA, MBA of the estate planning, elder law and special needs planning law firm of Czepiga Daly Pope, with offices in Berlin, Hartford, Vernon and Simsbury. Since 1984, Mr. Czepiga has developed customized estate planning strategies for Connecticut residents of all ages and income levels. His MBA degree and dual licenses as an attorney and CPA provide him with a strong background to address the complexities of succession and retirement, taxation and asset protection planning.

The seminar will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a light lunch provided. Please RSVP to Kaylah Smith at ksmith@cfgnb.org or call 860-229-6018, extension 300.
