Applying for a Grant
The Community Foundation engages in strategic grantmaking to organizations and programs that achieve clear gains for the residents of our region.
Your Journey Begins Here
All grant applications must begin with a Letter of Intent (LOI) summarizing the program or project for which funding is being sought. Letters of Intent should be submitted by January 1 or July 1 to coordinate with grant application deadline. For those invited to apply for funding after an LOI has been reviewed, grant application deadlines are February 1 and August 1.
Prior to submitting your LOI, we ask that you review our Community Investment Guidelines for complete information on our grants process and areas of interest. If an LOI is received after the deadline, staff will work to accommodate you as best they can.
Please note that only those who have submitted a Letter of Intent and been invited to submit a formal grant application should do so using the Community Foundation Grant Application Guidelines, Grant Request Budget, and the Organizational Budget for Grant Application.
