Spencer’s Hero Academia Memorial Scholarship Fund

This fund honors the courage and vision of Spencer Paul Tracy. Spencer was diagnosed with AML, a rare and aggressive form of leukemia at the age of 15. Following a series of treatments and a stem cell transplant, Spencer developed life threatening respiratory complications and passed away at the age of 18. Spencer had a love for knowledge. His dream was to help heal, support, and inspire children suffering from life threatening illnesses and assist them with educational pursuits where possible. The purpose of this fund is to enable recipients to attend an accredited college or university. One or more scholarship(s) per year shall be awarded to candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria:

Students must have previously or are experiencing a life-threatening illness and wish to pursue higher education. Students must be graduating seniors or previous graduates of a Connecticut High School, or any successor thereto, or, a student, who is a resident of Connecticut, in good standing, at any accredited college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
