CFGNB Hosts FREE Technology Workshops to Help
Nonprofits Navigate AI, Cybersecurity, and Risk

Technology Workshops for Nonprofits

We, the CFGNB, are hosting two in-person workshops this March to help nonprofit organizations confidently navigate artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and technology governance. Led by Greg Bugbee of Novus Insight, both sessions are practical, hands-on, and tailored to nonprofit leaders and staff responsible for operations, risk management, and technology oversight.

AI Jumpstart for Nonprofits

March 18 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Designed for organizations new to AI, this interactive session helps participants understand how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly and effectively. Attendees will explore real nonprofit use cases, learn core principles of AI governance and risk management, and begin drafting an AI use policy tailored to their organization.

Technology, Cybersecurity & Acceptable Use for Nonprofits

March 25 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

This workshop focuses on strengthening organizational safeguards around technology use and data protection. Participants will develop a draft Acceptable Use Policy, explore cybersecurity best practices, and address considerations such as remote work, device management, and data privacy.

Additional Support for Participants

Organizations may attend one or both sessions, and multiple staff members are encouraged to participate. Following the workshops, participating organizations will be eligible to receive up to 2.5 hours of one-on-one consulting support with Novus Insight, funded by CFGNB, to help refine and implement their policies.
